We subsequently conducted mediation analyses to evaluate the potential role of hsCRP in the relationship between early life stress and alcohol use. WebGreater hsCRP was associated with increased odds of improvement and response with sertraline, with P = 0.05 for the hsCRP–treatment group interaction, such that no association was observed with placebo .
