WebMar 13, 2012 · The “Yellow Brick Road” is the U.S. Marines Endurance Course on Marine Base Quantico. The course is 6.2 miles long including a 3 mile run back to the academy (uphill all the way I might add). It’s known as the “E” Course and is owned and maintained by the USMC. The number of tombstones I saw along the way was my first clue.
