WebJun 10, 2024 · I have a Fastrax alignment tool which I have used on a Factory Five Racing Cobra, 51 GMC with mustang II front suspension, a 54 Chevy 210 and my 71 Demon. Every car has driven straight with no tire wear after I have aligned them. WebApr 28, 2007 · Make sure the top plate is in the same orientation for both sides. You may have inadvertently installed one of them up side down. John ADDED: I've never heard of having to apply the brakes while using an alignment gauge. The only thing I can think of is he is trying to reduce the effects of tire scrub on the measurements.

From the description/pix, seems this is a single axle system, i.e. 2 wheel alignment only.
